OUR POLICIES
✅ RDF Eagles Club Policies
1. Safeguarding Policy
RDF Eagles is fully committed to providing a safe, positive, and supportive environment for every young person who trains with us.
We follow all national safeguarding guidelines and ensure that:
Coaches are fully trained, qualified, and vetted
Sessions are supervised at all times
Players are treated with respect, fairness, and dignity
Concerns are taken seriously and handled immediately
Parents are kept fully informed
Our priority is creating an environment where young players can develop, feel confident, and enjoy basketball without worry.
Every child deserves a safe place to grow and we make sure that place is here.
2. Code of Conduct (Players)
To maintain a professional, disciplined, and positive training atmosphere, all players must:
Arrive on time and ready to train
Listen to coaches and follow instructions
Treat teammates with respect
Try their best in every drill
Avoid rude, aggressive, or disruptive behaviour
Take care of equipment and facilities
We believe in developing not just athletes, but leaders and this code reflects the standards we live by.
3. Code of Conduct (Parents & Guardians)
Parents play a key role in a young athlete’s journey.
To help us maintain a strong and supportive environment, we ask parents to:
Encourage their child in a positive and respectful way
Allow coaches to coach
Avoid arguing with officials or staff
Communicate politely with coaches about concerns
Support their child’s development without pressure
We work best when coaches and parents operate as one team.
4. Attendance & Commitment Policy
Consistency is the foundation of improvement.
We ask all players to:
Attend sessions regularly
Notify us if they cannot attend
Commit to giving full effort during training
We understand life gets busy, just keep us updated so we can support your child’s development properly.
5. Cancellation Policy
To keep our programs running smoothly and fairly for all players:
Missed sessions cannot be refunded, as spaces are reserved
Cancellations must be communicated in advance
We aim to be as fair and flexible as possible while still maintaining high quality coaching and consistent scheduling.
6. Health & Safety Policy
RDF Eagles follows strict health and safety procedures to protect all players:
Facilities are checked regularly
First aiders are present at sessions
Players must inform coaches of injuries before training
Proper warm ups are completed every session
We take every step to make sure each player trains safely and confidently.
7. Equal Opportunities Policy
RDF Eagles welcomes every player, regardless of:
Experience
Ability
Background
Gender
Faith
Fitness level
Every child deserves the chance to grow, develop, and be part of a team.
We make sure no one is ever excluded.
8. Photography & Media Policy
To celebrate progress and promote the club:
Photos/videos may be taken during sessions
Parents can opt out at any time
We use media responsibly and respectfully
Our goal is to showcase development while protecting privacy.
9. Behaviour & Discipline Policy
We maintain a positive, safe environment.
If behaviour becomes unsafe or disrespectful:
A warning will be given
Parents may be contacted
Temporary suspension may occur if needed
This is extremely rare, most players thrive in our structure and respond positively to coaching.
